In November 2026, my fiancée and I will take on one of the greatest athletic challenges in the world: the New York City Marathon. For us, this journey is about much more than crossing a finish line. We are running to bring joy, laughter, and emotional relief to children in hospitals through the incredible work of Cliniclowns. Cliniclowns uses the power of play, humor, and human connection to help children cope with illness, medical treatments, and long hospital stays. Watching their impact has deeply moved us. Their ability to bring light into such difficult moments is extraordinary, and we feel compelled to support them in the best way we can, especially being parents of 4 young children ourselves. Training for a marathon requires dedication, discipline, and heart—qualities we believe also reflect the spirit of Cliniclowns. As we prepare for this race, we want every kilometer to count.
